God Has A Plan For Me

Always know that God has a plan for you. A lot of times we feel that our past is the main thing that affects our future, when in reality you can make yourself a better future. Sometimes you have to go through storms in your past so that you can appreciate your future. Never let your past hold you back. God may even delay you so that he can build you up to where he wants you to be, so don't dreail from God because you don't know where he is taking you, just learn how to move forward and God will make a way. It took me a long time to realize that God had a plan for me.

Yeah I may not have the job that my bachelor’s degree should have achieved

But that doesn’t mean that I should lose my pride and tell everyone that I didn’t succeed

You may misunderstand my smile

But that’s because you don’t know that God Has A Plan For Me

And who cares if I had to go back home for days, months, and weeks

And It’s okay that right now I don’t have a dental plan to take care of my teeth

And you may think I’m crazy because I’m laughing

And yes it’s still going to take me another year to pay off my car

And no I don’t have my own house with a big back yard

And you’re curious as to why I still hold my head up high

No I don’t have money stashed away in a savings account

And who cares if I don’t know what not living check to check is all about

And it’s amazing to you that everyday I don’t cry

So what if I can’t go out every week and buy me a new pair of sneaks

And it’s not my fault that I’m mailing out a new bill every single week

And you’re still wondering why a smile fills up my cheeks

And yes I still get my food off the dollar menu at Wendy’s

And no I aint never ever wore anything that said Prada or Fendi

And you shake your head because I happily rock my Payless shoes

And so what if I don’t make that many trips just so I won’t have to spend money on gas

And yeah I write checks just to make me feel like my money actually lasts

And you’re not sure why I’m still having fun

Because you didn’t see me picking up this pen and pad
